Store Policy

SHIPPING: Most orders ship within 24-48 hours. Due to the global import nature of our business, we have delays due to transportation and customs that are beyond our control. In addition, we are a small, growing business that is currently expanding and growing. If your order contains soap or an out of stock (backordered) item, your order will be shipped within a 10 day period EXCLUDING Saturday and Sunday unless there is a meaningful delay. Soapmaking Kits are generally shipped within 7 days due to the handbuilt nature of the wooden molds and preparation of fresh soapmaking oils and your choice of ingredients.

SHIPPING CHARGES: We currently charge a flat rate of $7.95 per order until the actual shipping charges are exceeded. We will bill your credit card or paypal account for the difference in actual shipping charges before shipment. We do not charge a handling fee. We reserve the right to add additional shipping fees that are usual and customary without prior authorization.

We ship via FEDx Ground, or USPS Post Office. If your order is shipped and you fail to accept the package in a timely manner, (usually within 3 attempts at delivery) you will be responsible to pay additional shipping charges to have your order re-shipped. If you supply a wrong, or incomplete address, you will be responsible for additional shipping charges.

RETURNS: NO RETURNS, NO REFUNDS, NO REFUSALS. Due to the personal care aspect of our products, we cannot guarantee purity once items have left our facility. We are happy to answer any questions you may have before ordering to insure your satisfaction when your package is delivered. Any shipment that is refused will be subject to a 50% restocking fee and no refund for shipping charges incurred. Returns that have received written authorization in the form of a Return Authorization and returned to us in unopened and undamaged condition will be refunded less a 50% restocking fee, LESS shipping charges incurred by our company.

DAMAGED SHIPMENTS: If your package is recieved in damaged condition, refuse delivery, have the driver document the damage and retain a copy of the report. Notify us via email with DAMAGED SHIPMENT in the subject line immediately. We will NOT send a replacement order if the damage is not immediately reported to the carrier and documented. All boxes, packaging materials and products must remain intact and undisturbed in order to process a claim. The shipping carrier may need to inspect the damaged order. Failure to follow these procedures will result in a denial of yours and our claim.

LOST/UNINSURED SHIPMENTS: All customers have the right to ask for and pay additional for insurance to cover their parcel. If a customer does not ask for, nor insure their parcel and it is lost by the Post Office, we will not be responsible for refunds nor replacements.

PAYMENT: We gladly accept Visa, MasterCard, Paypal, Personal Checks and Money Orders . If payment is by Personal Check or Money Order , shipment will be delayed until the funds have been obtained by us. We process credit cards prior to shipping your items. Funds must be received before shipment is completed.

BACKORDERS: If you have ordered an item that is currently out of stock, we will hold your order until the items arrive usually within a few days. If the item is discontinued or no longer available, your order will ship without the items and a credit given.

PACKAGING: All oils and butters less than 2 lbs. will come in an FDA approved container. Liquid oils will be shipped in PET bottles. Shea Butter in 1/2 lb. and 1 lb. sizes will ship in an easy to open FDA approved container. Shea Butter orders larger than 2 lbs. will ship in a double white plastic bag lined sealed box.

RETURNED CHECKS: $25.00 surcharge on all returned checks.

COD: Sorry, we do not offer COD.

SALES TAX: Unless we have a Faxed copy of your Tax-Exempt Certification, all Georgia Residents will pay Georgia Sales Tax.
